The Las Vegas Raiders franchise (then known as the Oakland Raiders) was one of the eight original AFL franchises established in 1960. From 1960 to 1981, and from 1995 to 2019 the team was known as the Oakland Raiders. The team was known as the Los Angeles Raiders from 1982 to 1994. In 2020, the team moved to Las Vegas.
